.

Please see the Notice below for information and watch your mail for a notice explaining the same.

2024 REVAL. NOTICE - VILLAGE OF CEDAR GROVE

The Village of Cedar Grove has retained Associated Appraisal Consultants, Inc. for the purpose of reappraisal of all taxable real estate within the Village.

A revaluation is a Village-wide review of all property assessments. Adjustments are made where necessary to guarantee that all property is assessed at market value. This ensures that taxes are distributed equitably. The State of Wisconsin sets the standards that all communities in the State must be valued at 100% of market value or be kept within 10% of that value. The Village has fallen below those standards.  The last revaluation was done in 2008. Associated Appraisal will be conducting an interior inspection process of all properties in the Village. The process will take approximately 5-10 minutes inside each building.  They will work throughout the summer months and the values will not be in effect until the December 2024 tax bill.  A badge with a photo ID will be worn by assessment staff while in the field. If you have questions, please call the Village office at (920) 668-6523.

In addition, all courtesies and considerations shown to the appraisers will be greatly appreciated.

Informational letters are being mailed to all property owners on June 3, 2024 by Associated Appraisal.
