Sidewalks & Paving of
Sub Divisions OrdinanceAn Ordinance amending Chapter 18, Subdivision and
Platting, Section 12, regarding Sidewalks and Second Layer of Blacktop,
of the Village Code of the Village of Cedar Grove, Sheboygan County,
Wisconsin, by Adopting Additional Regulations.
THE VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF CEDAR
GROVE DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, a regular meeting of the Village Board
of Trustees was held on June 10, 2002 after due notice to all interested
parties and public hearing for the purpose of reviewing a resolution to
Amend Chapter 18, Subdivision and Platting, Section 12, Sidewalks, as
follows:
From:
(c) Sidewalks shall be
installed in subdivisions at such time as 60% or more of the lots on
that side of the street have been built upon OR within five (5)
years from the sale of the first lot in the subdivision, whichever event
occurs first.
To:
(c) Sidewalks, topsoil,
seeding, and all other improvements required by the Subdivision
Regulations shall be installed in subdivisions at such time as 75% or
more of the lots on a side of street or cul de sac have been sold or
upon 4 years after final approval of the final approval of the final
plat, whichever occurs first.
And inclusion of the following language:
(d) The second layer of
blacktop shall be completed on a street or cul de sac when 75% of the
lots on either side of the street or cul de sac have been sold, or 4
years after a final approval of the final plat, whichever occurs first.
WHEREAS, the Village Board of Trustees has voted
to amend Chapter 18 as stated above;
In all other respects, Chapter 18, Subdivision and
Platting, Section 12, Sidewalks, of the Village Code of the Village of
Cedar Grove, including any prior amendments shall remain unchanged.
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
from and after its passage, publication and recording as provided by
law.
