WATER METER REPLACEMENT
Beginning Feb. 2, 2026, the Village of Cedar Grove Water Dept. will begin the implementation of our Water Meter Replacement Program, which will take place over the next several years.  This program is mandated by the Public Service Commission (PSC) which requires replacement of water meters every 20 years.
We will begin with Center Avenue and Wisconsin Avenue.
If your residence or business is scheduled for a meter replacement, a Notice will be left at your residence or the DPW personnel will contact the affected residences personally.
To install a new water meter, two (2) Village of Cedar Grove DPW employees will need to gain access to the water meter inside your home or business. The water meter is usually located in the basement. The water meter area should be clear and accessible when personnel arrive. Please move all items away from this area as our employees will need space to work. An adult 18 years or age of older must be present at the time of any installation. If you have pets, please keep them in a secure location. The entire installation should take approximately 30 minutes. 
After you receive a Notice to have a new water meter installed, please contact the Village Office at (920) 668-6523 or via email: jbrey@cedargrovewi.com to schedule an appointment. Appointments are scheduled between 7:00am and 2:30pm Monday through Thursday and 7:00am and 11am on Fridays. If these hours do not work for you, be sure to contact the Village Office and we will work something out together. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call the Village Office at (920) 668-6523 during normal business hours.

VILLAGE REMINDERS:

Beginning December 1 ~ No overnight parking on Village Streets.

April 1 - Parking resumes on Village Streets.

No shoveling of snow into the roadways in the Village.

Branch chipping has ended for the year and will resume April 6, 2026.

Christmas trees will be picked up every Monday in January.

GOLF CARTS

The Village of Cedar Grove Board of Trustees recently approved and passed an Ordinance regarding Golf Carts in the Village of Cedar Grove:

Ordinance #2 of 2023 - Operation of Golf Carts on Village Roads

No golf carts shall be operated on Village of Cedar Grove roads, unless a permit sticker issued by the Village Clerk has been issued to the owner of said golf cart.
The permit sticker received from the Village of Cedar Grove must be displayed on the driver's side front quarter panel of the golf cart and must be clearly visible at all times. 

Permit sticker cost is initially $25.00 and $10.00 annually thereafter.
